Ayer, estaba sentada en la cafetería de la uni, y llegaron unas chavas de la carrera de ciencias de la comunicación a pedir que si nos podían aplicar una encuesta.

Obviamente después de 4 semestres, en los cuales a mi me tocó aplicar encuestas, y mentar madres porque no encuentras quien te las conteste, accedí a contestarla.

La encuesta era sobre los niños de la calle, la estructura era bastante simple, te daban 3 opciones: me desagrada, me es indiferente o me agrada.

Al leer la tercer opción casi me da un colapso nervioso.

¿En verdad esperan que alguien les conteste: ME AGRADA encontrarme un niño de la calle, es lindo, todo sucio, con hambre, sin dinero, algunos apestosos, con harapos, sin bañarse, sin dinero, que anda mendingando para poder comer, algunos andan con peladas en los pies y con sangre seca, enfermos, algunos en las esquinas escondidos con una bolsa drogándose?

Si definitivamente es agradable encontrarse un niño de la calle.

Otras cosas por las que me agrada encontrarme un niño de la calle, es porque se ven tan felices, tienen un sin fin de juguetes: bolsas de plástico, cajas rotas, carritos rotos y sin llantas, muñecas que solo tienen una cabeza y un vestido deslavado, pedazos de vidrio que intentan ser canicas.

También es agradable que se acerquen a pedir dinero, por supuesto, ves a un niño que anda sin zapatos, con cara de hambre y te mueres de felicidad al verle acercarse para pedirte para un taco. Tu con tu gran corazón le das, otras veces tu conciencia te dicta que no le des porque lo usara para drogarse, claro es mejor que muera de hambre a que use algo que le va a permitir escapar de su realidad, va a sufrir menos sin comida.

Y cuando te preguntan porque les das dinero, claramente dices por ayudar, ni por un momento te pasa por la cabeza la lastima; esa es para los perros o los animales. Para mi, a veces hasta a los animales se les trata mejor que a los niños.

Y obvio, tenían que preguntar que harías para ayudar, y entre las opciones que daban venia internarlos en una casa hogar.
Es un buen lugar para los niños, por supuesto.

Los violan, los explotan, los golpean, no les dan de comer, los tienen encerrados, les quitan lo poco que tienen( si es que tenían algo), pero al menos, ya no están en la calle.
